About Our Video
Backyard Barn Owls is a fun, fascinating look at one of the world's most common and most beneficial birds. The video is 27 minutes long, filmed and narrated by videographer Bert Kersey of Fallbrook, California. View sample clips from the video.
Part 1 follows four little owlets, from their first meal in winter through a very comical "flight school" in spring. Barn owls rid our neighborhoods of thousands of rodents every year, and what goes on in the dark of night will amaze you.
Part 2 is narrated by the author and photographer, who shares all kinds of facts about this fascinating bird of prey. You'll learn about those mysterious OWL PELLETS too - where they come from and what's inside.
Backyard Barn Owls is a real audience pleaser.
